Black Hog Helps was proud to present Pints for Pups, a Dog Adoption Day and fundraiser for Companion Pet Rescue (CPR) this past Sunday, August 19th from 11 AM – 8 PM. $1 from every pint sold went towards CPR.
CPR is the perfect partner for this event, as their mission is to rescue and rehome abandoned and neglected dogs who are friendly, social, and loving companion pets. CPR dogs are thoroughly socialized with other dogs and people so you won’t find aggressive or special needs dogs. (there is a place for those dogs – CPR is simply not equipped to rescue them).
In past years, the event has united so many families with amazing pups and this year they’re all invited back for a reunion! We can’t wait to witness the love between dogs and owners and see many more dogs find families.
If you weren’t able to join us this past weekend, please visit cprdogs.com to view adoptable dogs and fill out an application for pre-approval. The process is super simple! Take a look at the available dogs, fill out the application, and an adoption coordinator will be in touch. The list of available dogs changes often so visit cprdogs.com soon to keep your place in line! You never know when puppy love might hit you, so head on over there now!
Dog, beer, and life lovers: our NEXT event with CPR will be “Barktoberfest” on October 14th! We hope to see you there to be a part of a magical day of adorable dogs, delicious eats, and Black Hog Beer. What more could you possibly ask for?
