Black Hog Helps Common Ground

Black Hog Helps attends Feast from the Field on September 22nd 2018 to help raise money for Common Ground. This unique high school’s mission is to cultivate habits of healthy living and sustainable environmental practices within a diverse community of children, young people, adults, and families. Common Ground’s campus in New Haven hosts an urban farm, an Environmental Education Center, as well as the nation’s longest-running environmental charter school. The charter school excels in creating the next generation of successful college students and powerful environmental leaders. Common Ground is the type of community that Black Hog Helps truly loves to be involved with. Each year, Common Ground hosts their largest fundraiser to help fund all of the amazing work done at the school. Black Hog has supported Common Ground at their Feast from the Field over the last four years by donating and serving beer to all guests who attend this amazing event. This year, Black Hog’s own Jason Sobocinski attended and served 8 cases of beer to over 250 thirsty supporters who also enjoyed bites from area restaurants such as Roia, Olmo, Ordinary, and Little Kitchen Big Taste.
